Lauren James, Owner / Professional Organizer

After going through a season of life that had me living in the Midwest as a single mom with two daughters, I was feeling overwhelmed, stressed and anxiety ridden. My house was a cluttered disaster. I was living a life where I was late to appointments and work, and I was spending money to try to release stress. I was a mess. I had to get it together. So I started decluttering. And I started organizing my home in an attempt to get my life in order. As I worked through this process to gain control of my life I fell in love with organizing. I couldn’t get enough of the way it made me feel to only be surrounded by the things that I loved and needed in my home, instead of the clutter that had overtaken my garage and closets. I could feel the stress and anxieties being lifted, especially after I could park in my garage again!

After this season of life had me moving 5 times in 4 years, I started to adapt a minimalist lifestyle. I swapped my closet for a capsule wardrobe. At some point I realized, I HAVE TO SHARE THIS FEELING! I organized for my neighbors. I organized for my friends. I organized for my daughters’ schools. And then I moved again. Back to Northwest Arkansas. So I left my creative job in a fun florist shop in small town Indiana to go back home, back to NWA. The road to finding my purpose was rocky, but the clarity in knowing I am using my gifts to guide others to gain control of their time and space is indescribable.
